Copper is such a beautiful and underrated metal, with a warm and mellow colour that ages and tarnishes in interesting ways. It has a higher melting point than silver, so is harder to work, but it can be enamelled, stamped, fire-painted, acid-etched and treated with chemicals to create gorgeous patinas. I like experimenting here with different techniques and ideas, as Copper’s relatively low cost makes it less expensive to try something new!
